Higher Education staff invited to take part in GCSE and A level survey

We have commissioned Opinion Leader to carry out a survey of staff responsible for offering places at Higher Education Institutions in England. The study is to help us understand perceptions of A levels, GCSEs and other qualifications, and their regulation. This piece of research will provide us with key information about how well we are meeting our public confidence objective, as well as identifying areas around GCSE and A levels qualifications where there are potential problems.

Staff at Higher Education Institutions involved in recruiting school leavers are invited to take part in the study. Telephone interviews will take five to 15 minutes to complete. All responses will be anonymous and will not be reported in a way that can identify either individuals or institutions.

If you are interested in taking part or have any questions about the survey, please contact Toby Cotton at Opinion Leader at tcotton@opinionleader.co.uk or on 020 7861 3080, or Leonor Rodriguez at Ofqual at leonor.rodriguez-jaramillo@ofqual.gov.uk.

Further information on Ofqual’s annual perceptions survey can be found on our website.

The survey closes on 18th January 2013.
